A Jobsite Radio with an iPod Dock

Gadget-loving construction workers already knew that Bosch sells the most macho jobsite radio with its ultra-chunky Power Box. Now they've extended their cool-factor lead with a custom dock for your iPod.

Aside from simply pumping your tunes out through the Power Box's built-in speakers, the dock also charges your iPod at the same time.

Black & Decker Jobsite Radio

Posted by Aaron on January 16, 2006 and filed under Jobsite Radios

I love gadget-filled jobsite radios. They always pack in the gee-wiz features (iPod connection anyone?) and wrap it all in to a nice 'hey-I-look-rugged' package that's pure eye candy for the DIYer.

Today's comes from Black & Decker and doesn't disappoint on either front.

Features do indeed run on the handy side--the lighter-jack for cell phone charging, weather band radio, task light, and detachable flashlight are all nice.

For me, the icing on the cake is the 'Locator Light,' which automatically turns on in case of a power failure. Cause man, you gotta be able to find your tunes!
