Houseblogger Tool Review: 1941 Farmall A

Friday is here so time to have a little fun. The houseblog Boothe Mountain Retreat has a review of of a tool that's a bit unusual--a 1941 Farmall tractor.

From their site:

"It is about as basic as you get for a tractor. It came stock with a 4 speed transmission, wide front end and a 540 RPM PTO. At some point a hydraulic set up was added which runs the front and rear lifts for bolt on attachments. It does not have 4WD or hydrostatic transmission like the new popular sub-compact tractors."

Probably a bit more than most people renovating a house would need, but also probably more fun than what you'd find in the average DIYer's tool chest too.
